Prioritise the grid on facts.
A power grid is thousands of decisions about where the money does the most good. Disecta Decision prepares the basis and proposes the priorities. You make the call.
Every year the same questions come back. Which cables and substations should be replaced first? Can the grid take the charging park that wants to connect in the industrial area? Which areas are pulling down supply quality, and with it revenue?
The answers are there, but scattered
The asset register and GIS know where everything is and how old it is. Meter data shows what the load really looks like. Outage reports show where things fail. Maintenance records, contracts and the regulator's rules sit in documents. And why a decision was made five years ago is often known by one or two people.
Weighing all of that into an investment case takes weeks. So it is rarely done as carefully as the decisions deserve.
A grid that has to handle more
- An ageing grid and a limited budget. Much needs renewing at the same time, and age says little about which asset is the most critical.
- More customers who both draw and feed in. In 2024, 5.30 % of household customers fed electricity into the grid, up from 1.07 % in 2020. With charging infrastructure and industry asking to connect, requests multiply, and every answer needs an assessment of what the grid can take.
- Outages that cost twice. Outages cost customers about SEK 1.27 billion in 2024. Just over 6,450 customers had outages lasting more than a day, which breaks the Electricity Act. Outages also affect what you may charge within your revenue cap.
- Grid losses that are hard to find. They can be reduced, but only if you know where they occur.

Decision proposal
Replace the transformer at substation N-214 before winter.
Three outages since last winter, load above rated capacity in cold hours, and 340 customers behind the substation.
- Prioritise on facts, not age. A ranked list of actions, with the reasons and the basis for each.
- Answer connection requests faster. Load, outages and planned work in the area, brought together for the assessment.
- See where outages cost the most, and which action reduces them most for the money.
- Find where in the grid the problems cluster, and how they have developed.
- Check that it got better. Set a date and see whether the action had the effect you wanted.
Alongside the systems you already have
Disecta Decision works with your network information system, GIS and operations systems, and none of them has to be replaced. The AI only sees what the person asking has the right to see, and every proposal traces back to its source. Read about security and data protection.
