Brand guidelines

Logo files, colours and the rules for using them. For partners, customers and anyone who writes about Disecta.

Logo files

Use SVG where you can: it stays sharp at every size. Use PNG where SVG doesn't work, for example in Office documents, email and social media.

Download the logo kit (ZIP)Every file below in one download, in SVG and PNG.

  • Logo, white

    For dark backgrounds.

  • Logo, ink

    For light backgrounds.

  • Mark, white

The D alone, for small or square spaces on dark backgrounds.

  • Mark, ink

The D alone, on light backgrounds.

  • App icon

For app icons and profile pictures.

  • App icon, light

The same icon on a white tile.

  • Use the files as they are. Don't redraw, stretch, rotate or recolour the logo, and don't add shadows, outlines or other effects.
  • One colour. White on dark backgrounds, ink on light ones. Never the blue, and never a gradient.
  • Give it room. Keep empty space of at least half the D's height on every side.
  • Keep the bars and the name together. They are one unit: don't separate them, rearrange them or crop them.
  • The mark is for small, square spaces. App icons, profile pictures and favicons. It stays readable down to 16 px. Everywhere else, use the whole logo.
  • A calm background. Place the logo on a plain, even surface, not on a busy picture.
  • Beside your own logo. Give the two logos the same visual weight and keep the empty space between them.

Colours

The logo is always white or ink. The blue is for emphasis and links, never for the logo.

Typeface

Disecta uses Schibsted Grotesk, an open-source typeface that is free to use. You can download it from Google Fonts. The text in the logo files is outlined, so you don't need the typeface to use the logo.

Writing the names

  • Disecta is written with one "s" and a capital D, never in capitals throughout.
  • Disecta Decision is the product. It is always written in full, in English in every language, and without "the" before it.
  • Utility Billing is the billing service for electricity retailers. In Swedish it is called Billing Elhandel.
  • Disecta Software Services AB is the legal name, for contracts and legal texts.
